1. When to appeal
If a moderation decision affected your account, your page, a specific product, or a link you posted, you have the right to ask us to look again. You can appeal:
- A removal of a link, product, embed or whole page.
- A suspension or termination of your account.
- An IP-infringement takedown filed against your content.
- A decision not to act on a report you submitted.
2. How to file an appeal
Email appeals@alllinks.cc with the subject line Appeal — [your username or case number] and include:
- Your Alllinks username and the email on your account.
- The case number from the email we sent you, if you have one.
- What you're appealing — be specific about the link, product or page.
- Why you believe the decision was wrong (in your own words; no need for legal language).
- Any context or evidence that supports your case.
3. What happens next
- A different moderator reviews your appeal — we don't ask the original decision-maker to mark their own homework.
- We respond within 5 business days. Complex cases (involving legal review) may take up to 14 days; we'll tell you if that applies.
- If we agree with you, we restore the content or reinstate the account and explain what we got wrong.
- If we still disagree, we explain the decision in detail. That decision is final from our side, but you may still have legal options under your local law.
4. Counter-notices for IP takedowns
If your content was removed under an intellectual-property complaint, the appeal becomes a DMCA counter-notice and must include:
- Your full name, postal address, phone, and email.
- The specific URL and content that was removed.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the removal was wrong.
- Your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in the district where you live (or, if outside the US, the district where Alllinks is incorporated).
- Your physical or electronic signature.
If the original complainant doesn't file a legal action within the period required by law (typically 10–14 business days), we restore the content.
5. While the appeal is pending
For non-IP cases we generally keep the original decision in effect during review. For severe cases (clear illegal content, fraud, CSAM) the original removal is final and not subject to appeal.
